Zygomatic dental implants
Adin’s Touareg-OS Zygomatic dental implants offer a solution for cases of severe maxillary atrophy, eliminating the need for lengthy and complex bone regeneration procedures. HTD Medical is Adin’s official distributor in Italy: we’re here to support you every step of the way, from choosing the right system to the procedure itself.

What Are Zygomatic Dental Implants?
Zygomatic dental implants are extra-long implant devices designed to anchor prosthetic restorations in the zygomatic bone—a dense, stable bony structure located in the malar region of the face—rather than in the maxillary bone, which is often insufficient in patients with severe atrophy.
Adin’s Touareg-OS Zygomatic line , distributed in Italy by HTD Medical, is a premier solution for professionals dealing with upper arch rehabilitation cases where bone atrophy is severe and traditional implant techniques cannot be applied without resorting to complex and time-consuming bone regeneration procedures.
The implant passes through the maxillary sinus and is anchored in the zygomatic bone, utilizing the bicortical approach to achieve excellent primary stability. It can be used in both intra-sinus and extra-sinus procedures and is indicated for immediate loading in cases where the requirements for clinical stability are met.
Main Clinical Indications
- Severe atrophy of the upper jaw
- Patients with a history of implant failure
- Full-arch restorations (All-on-4/All-on-6 in atrophic sites)
- Intra- and extra-sinus procedures
- Immediate loading (if stability is sufficient)
- An Alternative to Extensive Bone Regeneration
Features and Benefits
The Touareg-OS Zygomatic line is designed to maximize stability, placement accuracy, and long-term clinical outcomes.
Hexagonal connection
Standard prosthetic platform compatible with the Adin abutment line, for precise and predictable prosthetic solutions.

Surgical Kit for Touareg-OS Zygomatic
The Adin surgical kit for zygomatic implants (part number ZGSK001) is designed to make implant placement procedures safer, more predictable, and simpler, even in cases of complex anatomy.
The kit was developed in conjunction with the specific design of the Touareg-OS Zygomatic and includes instruments specifically designed for zygomatic bone osteotomy, featuring high-performance cutting drills and laser marking for depth control.
- Twist Step Surgical Drills
- Dedicated Pilot Cutter
- Diamond Cutters
- Depth Probe
- Complete set of surgical instruments

Twist Step Cutters for Touareg-OS Zygomatic
Adin drills for the Touareg-OS Zygomatic implant system are high-precision instruments designed forperforming osteotomies in the zygomatic bone. The Twist Step profile allows for gradual and progressive preparation of the surgical site, ensuring maximum precision during placement and excellent stability throughout the entire procedure.
Each drill bit is made of high-quality surgical steel and features a DLC ( Diamond-Like Carbon) coating that ensures superior cutting efficiency, reduces heat generation, and preserves the integrity of bone tissue. Laser-etched depth markings and a progressive-diameter guide tip complete a precision system designed for maximum surgical control.
- Progressive Twist Step Design – Gradual site preparation for maximum precision and stability during zygomatic bone osteotomy;
- Surgical steel + DLC coating – Maximum cutting efficiency, reduced heat generation, and longer instrument life;
- Laser depth marking – Lengths ranging from 35 mm to 55 mm with laser indicators for full intraoperative control of insertion depth;
- External Irrigation – External irrigation system for optimal intraoperative cooling and protection of biological tissues;
- Progressive-diameter guide tip— Ensures proper positioning within the zygomatic bone structure and facilitates centering throughout the procedure.
